To sit an exam with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers during the 2020/21 academic year, you will need to register as a student. This can be done online at

Exam Registration Process

2020/21 online registration became available on 15 June 2020.

New Students - If you have not registered before with the Institute then you can use to manage your new student account with the Institute. As a new student you will need to register by clicking on the Register button at the top of the page at

Returning student - If you are a student who has previously taken exams with the Institute you will have a login username and password already created, this means you can start registering as a 2020/21 student, this can be done online at Simply use your registered email address, requesting a new password via the 'Forgot Password' button.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it., if you are unsure to obtain these details, but you must include your student number, date of birth and your email address used at the time of your last registration, so that the Education team can quickly locate your records.

Once registered online, you can manage your own account, update your contact information (this information is only used by the Institute to send important information), and also view previous years exams as well as other information related to your profile, such as any subject exemption granted.
